Find a good upholsterer that does custom work and have one made using a good closed cell foam. I made one myself cause I had some particular desires, namely good two up longevity since I ride more with my wife than I do by myself, but any good upholsterer should be able to do what you're looking for for the same cost or less than corbin, just in vinyl instead of Leather.

Off the record, Saddlemen in Calif makes Buell's seats. They "can" make you a custom seat fit to your dimensions with extra width, thickness, gel insert, various types of covers and not just vinyl or leather - whatever you want. My stock 9R seat is just as comfortable as my 96 S1's seat that was custom modified by Saddlemen with extra width, gel & Spandura cover.

I put Corbin in touch with Vallejo Buell, who last I heard was going to loan one of their store Firebolts to Corbin so a seat can be developed. Not sure of the status, but I'd bet that Corbin will have a Firebolt seat set soon.

I've used Sargent Cycle seats on two bikes. They worked up a custom mod on my 1996 900SS and I bought one of their replacement (world seats?) seats for my VFR. Both were awesome, lots of colors, textures to choose from. I've never been a fan of Corbin seats, too hard and they all seem to have a 'pocket' you fit into that's towards the back of the seat then mounds up as it goes forward. Makes it uncomfy/hard to sit up close to the tank. Just my opinion, and like butts, everyones got one......
