Got an 09 12R.Was dropped off today and it has a stumble. when I chop the throttle it almost dies sometimes. any suggestions on where to start. once i get some funds together i will change the oil, plugs, wires and put a K&N filter on it if doesn't have one already.basic new bike stuff. | ||

also, I looked in the for sale section but i need a chin spoiler (i think that is what it is called)looks kinda corny without it. | ||

Sounds like your idle control servo might be sticky. Somewhere on this site, there is a thread that shows how you can remove the servo and clean it. | ||

If the muffler isn't stock, there might not be a place to attach the chin spoiler to. | ||

It's stock. I think the dude might have had an aftermarket exhaust, chnanged it before selling it and that's why it's gone now. Oh well. Idle control servo, got I will look that up. |
