My bike does not like to start, and especially this cold it is impossible. The bike does not want to idle correctly up untill it it warmed up too. And there is a intake leak causing popping in the airbox. unless she is running hard at high rpm she is find and a champ. I believe when you advance the timing it improves high end preformance, correct? so this causes the low end to suffer? When I put the bike togther after a transmission rebuild, I gave it an advanced timing. Would recalibrating the timing fix the idle bugs and cold starts? |

Popping in airbox not necessarily intake leak, did you spray brakleen around intake seals to check for any leaks? poor tuning or bad timing can all cause popping and if you grab a big handful of throttle at low rpm these bikes will do the same. |
