You can polish it cause its aluminum, but a lot of messy work. Paint my look cheap, unless done right. Depends on time and $$ you want to invest. |

This is as subjective as it gets, but I think stock looks better than either of those options. The chrome looks gaudy to me - too gimmicky, and painted? I just can't envision that looking better, especially given the effort it would take to get everything off the frame - |

well if it was painted it would be done profesionaly but the polishing thing sounds neat i donno im trying to build a really nice looking bike and im planning on putting abunch of chome on it and i was thinking the frame being black would make the chrome jump out but then the frame being shiny might catch more attention |

but the grey frame will through the rest of the bike off right now it looks ok but once i paint the rest of the bike it will look weird but its ur opinion and thats what i asked for |

I did my 12S all in black. I think it looks better now than before. I didn't like all the different shades of gray it had between the frame, subframe, cheese grater and headlight assembly, so I did them all in flat black. I can't ever get my pictures small enough for this site, but here is a link where pictures of my bike can be found if you want to get an idea. http://www.sportbikes.com/photo/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=43902 |

The all-black bike looks mean'n nasty. Great! Just need to coat the headers, add a black Drummer, coat the forks and cylinders and it'd be completely stealth Henrik |
