they will drop "Own the corners" and "for those few seconds you're not thinking about sex, money, or down-shifting"...in favor of what??? "Take the short cut" "off road is the new road"

I think it is wise to market the xb9 as a city/cafe bike. I rip through the streets of DC with ease. Torque and fun, smiling the whole way. bones |

Court I'm right with ya. The bike would rock for my daily commute (6 miles, all potholes, cobblestones, and trolley tracks). I absolutely LOVE the idea. Anyone notice the upgraded suspension and the new tires? The Pirellis get rave reviews. Ever locked the front brake clipping a mirror lane splitting or a signpost while your parking on the sidewalk? Love the handguards, too. Hey Dave - do you know if the handguards will be available as an accessory if I buy say a used or leftover XB9S? |

Man....after doing my "urban" photos of the 1997 M-2 (yes, the one I rode in snow, wearing a tuxedo to the Grand Opening of the Ducati flagship store) in front of the Statue of Liberty, on the Staten Island Ferry and the time I parked it among all the limos on Wall Street on Friday afternoon...I'd LOVE to have my hands on one of those "City" bikes for about 2 days. I'd have an ad campaign that would make waves.
