the parts manual, the service manual, and the electrical diagnostic manual I have the first two, but how important is the Electrical manual?? Also have a 04 and 05 xb buell and just their one book service manual, and parts manual which seems to cover all for them years.... Not sure why in 2008 and up there is the electrical manual as well..is it important to have this or will the service manual and parts manuals for the 08 and up be okay?? Thanks |

While cruising through the '08 service manual, I noticed that there was NO information about trouble codes, should a check engine light come on. So I got one, and virtually all electrical information and trouble shooting guides are in the electrical manual. P/N 99343-08Y, for my '08TT. Hope this helps, Dave |

Due to the changes to the 2008 bikes, they decided to break the service manual into two parts, and all the electrical troubleshooting is in the new book. It is the least used of the three in my experience, but its info is vital the second you need to figure out why your headlights won't turn on. |
