k so theres a new firebolt on base
its blue with the race kit
im thinkin ya easy money
but today i found out hes havin problems
he bought his bike used n its got the old kickstand and the old bearings i told him theyd been recalled n to get em replaced
but his real trouble is that as soon as u let out the clutch it dies
guess i wont be racing him in this condition
he said he took it to the local hardley shop n begged em to look at it till they did
he said they adjusted the clutch from the primary cover n it somewhat worked
he said it felt like it was halfassd in gear but it worked good enuff to get him back to base
soon as he goes to start it the next day the same thing happned
as soon as u let out the clutch it dies
i told him i dunno too much about em either but i let him borrow my service manual
incase he felt like diggin into it himself
anyone got any idea/suggestions?

That would be my guess. That or a TPS reset? Maybe the race kit was installed by the previous owner and he didn't know it would need one. I would certainly explore the kickstand switch route first though.

When I got my bike I had the same problem. HD adjusted the kickstand switch and no more stalling. That is my guess. After it happens, put down the kickstand and put it back up and see if it happens.
