Im stripping my bike down to parts. Currently the engine is rotated down and the cylinders are off. Is it easier to pull the engine out of the bike or to pull the parts away from the engine? What I mean is , is it easier to pull the engine out while the forks/wheels are attached OR rest the engine on something and take the forks/wheels/frame off the engine as it sits? |

Depends on how you have your bike supported really. Once you remove the motor the swingarm has nothing to mount to , so using a paddock stand for support is no good. If you are removing everything anyway I would take the wheels/suspension off then lift the frame away from the motor/swingarm assembly. |

Hang the chassis from a hoist, use a tie-down strap over a rafter or rig something similar
