I need a stock muffler for an 04 xb12s and wondered if I could use a xb9 with no exhaust valve. Would it cause any problems? I can't find a used 12 muffler anywhere! Thanks! |

The collector on the 9 is smaller then the 12. That being said I have a bone stock 04 12S muffler with the baffle that I would be happy to part with. I have no idea what it's worth though, and shipping could be a killer cause it weighs a ton. |

I would give you $50.00 for it and pay the shipping if you are interested! Thanks! |

To be accurate, no it is not. The mufflers are the same physical size, same size collecter, but the 12 has the valve in it. The header primaries are larger on the 12 motor, but the collector is the same size. |

Well, duh on me, Andy is correct. I have a 9 and 12 and never really noticed it. |
