Does anyone have the Urban Assault Solo Seat? If so how do you like it? Is it really necessary to remove the passenger footpeg brackets to install the seat. The only reason I ask is that I believe it would be difficult to mount soft saddlebags without the passenger footpeg brackets as an attachment point. |

I own all the Buell manufactured seats for my XB12Ss(stock, Sport, Touring, and TT) in an attempt to find a comfortable touring solution. The last one I bought was the TT seat and after 1 ride I determined it wasn't for me. You do NOT need to remove the rear passenger pegs to install the TT seat. I found the seat too soft, too narrow, and too grippy for moving around. Others have had wonderful experiences and love the seat. YMMV, Nels |
