I was changing my oil yesterday and noticed a slight leak from the oil line behind the oil filter. I tried to snug it up a bit but it seems that the smaller fitting that the oil line attaches to, spins and I am getting more of a leak.

1. Is the fitting supposed to turn?
2. How can I fix it with such little room to get in there?

I don't want to wait until I can get to the dealer...

I got mine back from the dealer and it was just an "un-snug" line from the oil pump switch / to the radiator. They tightened things up and no more leak.

My bad, did not tighten it enough...

I wish that was all mine was... Mine was leaking at both fittings on the lines coming off the oil cooler. They were leaking at the opposite end from the cooler where they go back into the 'block'...
The dealer took the lines loose and cut off just a bit of line and reflared them... It looks like that stopped the leak. I only rode home but after a few days riding to work and back I'll know for sure that it's fixed...

I have it down to a very light weep, but I am still not satisfied. Time to take a run up to the dealer...

At least we never have to worry about changing the coolant.
