Shouldn't be too hard. All of the needed parts will bolt right on. |

You will need to do some wire splicing for the headlights. |

Shouldn't be tough. I started with a Firebolt.

I like how the front fairing looks, and I kinda like the lightning seat, well. . . is the firebolt back end higher? wouldn't mind trying that now that I think about it, the lightning isn't the most comfortable seat what parts will I need besides the plastic fairing/windshield? can't I use the existing speedo/tach display stuff? so I can go ahead and try to buy this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=190561477362&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPage Name=VIP:watchlink:top:en#ht_4670wt_941 |

Firebolt front on a Lightning is not complicated; I only changed throttle and clutch cables for the clip-ons and added the plug on the headlights to match the current harness. The most complex of all the swaps is when you put the Firebolt tail on the Lightning. It's been done on here a few times with some nice step by step write ups. |
