Showing Heli top clamp (1"up 1.5"back), lower pegs (1"down) and Zero Gravity shield (3"higher). All numbers relative to stock. I am 6'1" and really feel this is a nicer fit over stock. All the changes add up to a nice overall feel without detracting from the looks. The bars feel very good when riding aggressive corners. Haven't dragged the pegs yet, my foot (toes) would scrub first. Shield puts the wind break right at your helmet making for more wind noise than before.

Looks nice, Vaughn. Have you thought about adding the Custom Seat for another 1/2"-3/4" between your rump and the pegs? The orange pegasus sewn onto it would match the amber nicely, too...LOL |

I thought about the seat but figured it would negate some of the rise I'm getting from the bars. The wrists are my biggest problem vs knee bend. A thicker seat might be cooler though. My bum gets quite hot before the cooling fan kicks in on those hot days. |

Hey man, you drive way is bustin up. You may want to get a soil analysis done on your place before long. My last pad did something like that and I wound up with some serious soil/foundation/driveway problems. What did the new triple clamp do for you up top? I like to ride my XB9R/S hybrid at the track, Im always shooting to lower my upper body positioning. Im also 6'2", are you trying to increase the upper ride height? |

Me too. Six four and like it stock. Like others have said before, I avoid store front windows where I can see myself... LOL! |

6'1",S model pegs and a Buell custom seat on a 12R. Otherwise stock. This works just fine for me. My extra height is in my waist to chest area so I sit tall and have long arms. If I want to straighten up I hook my feet over the passenger pegs and hold the bars by just my fingertips. At 80 mph the bike drags me along about the same as tucked in. Gets some looks though. I thought a guy on a Honda 600 repla was going to loose it today when I passed him while riding like that. Lots of comments on how tiny the bike looks when I'm on it. Ditto the store front window bit or else I'd be parking all the time to wait for the fits of laughter to die down. I just enjoy the ride and don't worry about the look! |
