I wonder if this super cool front brake set up on the new Erik Buell Racing 1190R would work on older XB's ? I like the carbon fiber cooling ducts . The motorcycle magazines are raving about how good the front brake is now . For the most part , they love the 1190R . (Finally)

The caliper and rotor will work, but the cooling duct will not work with the stock forks without modification, but its not like much modification is needed. |

Yeah its a pretty slick set up , I would think probably pricey too . I guess on the 1190R they changed every component in the front brake assy . Look at that master cylinder , it looks like the expensive radial type like the racers use . Super Nice ! |

as soon as i saw those cooling ducts, i started working on something for my ztl2. i want it!! i know mine will never be that sexy, but i'll see what i can whip up. i love that 1190!!!!

Yep everything on that bike is top shelf in terms of components, and the price reflects it, but you do indeed get what you pay for (and then some). |
