So I am gathering all the parts I need to do a tail swap to my Firebolt. I the battery strap the same on both the lightning and firebolt?

Correct. Odds are you are not going to be able to get it on anyway.

If I ever have to take mine off again I'm replacing it with velcrow or something. I saw a few here did that and it worked for them. It took 2 people and 20 minutes to get mine back on..

Good video and I'll try it, but the link didn't work. I searched for 'Buell battery strap' and found it. I don't see how to get a link, though. Thanks for the help, I knew someone had figured it out.

ya know I haves seen several threads of people fighting with battery straps...and yet I think mine is the easiest thing in the world to put on and take off.
