I have an 07STT, want to buy full length ASV F3 levers. Will I be able to adjust the levers, or will the hand guards be in the way? |

to the best of my knowledge, with the levers in the "all the way out" position, they should be in almost the exact same position as the stock levers. when you adjust them, it brings the levers closer to the bars. i might be wrong, but i believe you should be perfectly fine with the asv levers. |

david, the issues isn't so much when they sit, it's the fact tht you have to bend them out to adjust them..if that makes sense! I have CRGs on my Uly (same hand gurads), and I can adjust then just fine. worst case, they don't clear and all you have to do is pop the guard from the end cap and pivot the guard out of the way when adjusting. You're only going to adjust them once or twice anyway. |

i have shorty asv's on my 1125 and shorty crg's on the uly. they are about the same. i haven't looked at the perches that closely, but you should be good to go: since the actaul lever postioning is the same, and the perches can't be that different. worst case you'll have to trim the inside gusset on the handguard or put your stockers back on and pawn the ASV's on here. on a side note; i think i like the ASV's better. ... but maybe it's cuz of the bike their on (Message edited by nillaice on June 19, 2011) |
