A month or so ago I low sided, thankfully nothing really major. One of the things that happened was the pipe that sticks out the furthest was scraped and was wondering about leaving it alone, spraying it or doing an exhaust wrap. Thoughts/opinions? |

My PERSONAL opinion is to leave it (unless it looks like it might crack with vibration and heat) Scratches and dents represent credibility. Why cover up a good story??? (but if you've ever seen ANY of my bikes, they ALL look like they're ridden hard and often) |

Haha. That's part of the reason I'm leaving some pieces untouched. As far as I can tell it just scraped it and gave it a flat spot. |

I know EXACTLY where your pipe got "flattened and scratched" I raced it almost another year before doing the motor rebuild and putting on the Beson pipe |

Part of me isn't too worried about it since Buell was made to be run and run hard. So a little character won't hurt. |
