hey does anyone know if the connectors from the oil pump to the lines, fail ? i cant tell if a leak is coming from the threads or the swivel of the 45-d fitting...

If enough stress is placed on the line, then yes a connector can fail or crack.

It could just be a leak at the pipe threads, where it screws into the oil pump body.

Fittings like that can be a PITA, where you have to tighten the fitting enough for the threads to seal but also have it aligned ("clocked") properly to mate up with the tubing downstream. You could try disconnecting the tubing, remove the fitting, install fresh teflon tape or sealant, reinstall fitting, and reconnect line.
