Kevin has mine ready to send out (Fatlet, of course ) Since the can came from a fellow Badwebber, and the funds from me, he has the pipe, but he's only waiting for the money order to arrive. I'm hoping the new can will leave his shop tomorrow. Steve. |

Hey Bubba... Make it a fake double fatlet. One side functional and the other not. No one is going to know if the other fatlet is functional or not unless you stick your face down there and poke around. Then again someone just might do that. Semper Fi Tatsu

If one side's functional and the other is backed up, are you gonna call it the 'fartlet?' I think you should call the new version the 'Hummer' The Hummer -- it really blows, yet doesn't suck, and you can fit four fingers in it... Oh my. Chris I really oughta be in marketing |

Does that mean I got the only example of a collectible non-fatlet Drummer in Oz Brian? It's got a reasonable size big long flat spot underneath it now, can't remember doing it, musta been having too much fun if there's such a thing. Couldn't have done it on those 4WD tracks could I? You really wouldn't believe where that Drummer and 12's been, I'm not game to go back and take photos to prove it! |

the fatlet is $400 stealth...the problem sometimes is form working with fucnction....and then what is pleasing to the eye for one is not pleaseing for the other. the pipe works better with the center out let that has been proven. so even to tatsu to make a fake one and move the outlet over and such would do form well and function no good. so being that function to me and kevin is always top priority That probably won't happen. opto....take it everywhere with you , it can take the abuse |

Hey Brian, sent my paypal $$$$ to you yesterday, and my pipe will be sent from Ohio on Thursday. How many have you ever sent to Canada? I think you said only one other one is up here, would have liked to be the only one, but #2 would be ok. Just curious... |

Interesting concept...Develop an XB12 pipe that works with a manually controlled switch. On = Drummer sound and performance. Off = Stock choked up sound and performance for those tacky moments when Johnny Law is present. Sounds like the days of solenoid controlled cut outs on the 1960's muscle cars, eh? Had them on my 1966 421 Pontiac 2+2 Convertible. Hmmm...think that was the only time I owned a Motor Trend Car of the Year. I named it the "Lead Sled" for obvious reasons. LOL |

The Drummer has been proven to work with the center outlet, but wouldn't it be possible to have two smaller diameter pipes (total cross sectional area about equal to the single pipe) exiting from the middle, with two smaller fatlets covering them? Mike. |

It's not all about the size of the opening. It also has to do with how the pulse of the gases exit. Pulses (kinda like sound waves) move up and down the pipe. You want the pulse that's exiting the pipe to happen at the same time both valves are open (overlap?) that way the exiting pulse helps pull in the air/gas mixture to help fill the cylinder. Twin fatlets may diffuse the pulse too much therefore not helping the cylinder fill. This is how I understand it. ICBW |

plus there is something else that works in conjunction with the center opening that wouldn't work for 2 openings. but I ain't gonna tell ya what.
