In need of some help. I have been riding my XB9R for just over a year now. Unfortunately there are not too many Buell riders where I am from. I was given this web page recently by my friend at the local HD shop. Intentions were first to sell my 9R because wife wants something more comfy to ride on. After reading messages for a few weeks now and learning the little tricks, I am having a blast on my 9R. I told the wife the other night she was gonna have to wait because I can't part with the bike now. gonna have to save a little and have two toys. The best thing is she was understanding. Now for the help. I am wanting to get 12R mirrors and airbox cover for my 9R. My local dealer tends to raise prices a little and am looking for the best price on these items. I have many more questions that I am sure have been covered before so I am planning on going through some of the archives before bringing them up again. Everyone that posts here seems to be extremely helpful and great. I hope you will have the help for me. Thanks

Welcome! Daves is the man for gettin' what cha need for the parts yer askin' for. I'm sure he'll chime in soon. I think you mean the airbox lid. The airbox cover is the part you see from the outside with the Buell logo.

I'm still officially an Iowa guy! We will see come Hunting Season. LOL Remind me to tell you about the time (Sound like Court?) I finagled a resident hunting and fishing license in both WI and IA. Ended up donating a full freezer of food to the local retirement home when I moved west. |
