Hey guys, looking for ideas for anything custom to plug the old mirror mounts now that the 12s has bar end mirrors. Any links or pics of previous examples would be great. |

It is a fine metric thread and hard to find. I was told to get the part from the R. They are barbed plastic inserts and work fine. I only have the S parts book, so I don't have the p/n. |

Part number N0001.B That part number is for one. So you would need to buy two of them. |

Oh, and they are a $1 a piece from the dealer. OR...... you can go to your local hardware store and look un the screw and bolts bins they have there and they usually have plugs just like them in those bins. Or you could go to an auto parts store like napa. Hell, I work at a Ford plant. Let me look around the trim area and see if we have anything I think might work. If we do, ill drop a couple in the mail for you. |

I just spent three dollars on some assorted vacuum caps and stuffed them in there. NO bolts sticking up or exposed. problem solved. I know they're hard to see in this pic but I hope it helps.

Thanks for the response! I've already thought about running to the hardware store and just grabbing a couple of bolts. The plug idea isn't bad either. But is there anything a little more custom? Spikes, skulls.....you know something that someone will either walk by and laugh or say that's cool. |
