I started this winter with doing an Ss to R swap, and I finally got it done.
Modified the rear frame to accept the tail section, ran a different R harness, bolted the front w/HID, wrapped the header, and painted the wheels (soon to be powdercoated, just wanted to get it done and ride).
All was a tedious and pain in the butt tasks, but I got it done.
Here are some pics in case anyone wants to see them.
Back when they first came out, the headers would blow out at the O2 bung. So many broke that Force (or maybe someone else) was selling the megaphones on e-bay. Once they started using springs to hold them together, things got better, and the megaphones on e-bay dried up.
Well I like it a lot, is there a source to get a baffle from anymore? Cause the drone and noise is cool now, I however dont have a lot of seat time in it yet, lol.
Never heard of a Force baffle, they're tuned for peak horsepower. There are a number of other exhausts that have a nice rumble, but won't make your ears ring. Odie pipe & Drummer (are the best sounding IMHO), but there are many more. I personally would stay away from the Jardine muffler, too much maintenance for me, they require repacking every so often or it'll self destruct.
What blinkers are you using, nice and small, I like that.
I had a drummer, it was too quiet for me. I also heard that Jardines can be a pain to maintain.
I will check on who made the blinkers, they are super bright and small. They also require a different flasher, and clearly that was another pain in the butt!
Oh ok. I know which ones they are, at least I know where to get similar LED blinkers. Drummer too quiet? The Force is for you then. Please save your ears, wear ear plugs.
