well, i finally finished rebuilding my motor. it only took me a month to tear it all down and build it all back up. a lot longer than i had hoped, but it's all good. i upgraded the brakes front and rear. ztl2 with 14mm master cylinder and brembo 2 piston with wavy rotors on both. new belt, and free spirits tensioner. bar end mirrors with mirror block off plates. carbon body work. new front and rear motor mounts. rewrapped the headers. spiked windscreen bolts. xb9 gearing kit. removed the base gasket to bump compression a little. it runs stronger now, the only problem is that the check engine light came on. i plan on resetting the tps and running the diagnostic with ecmspy. i'll post a few pictures in just a little bit. |

well, turned out it was a code 21, exhaust valve. so, i turned the valve off on the ecm. poof! check engine light went away. i love ecmspy! lol also, a big thanks to everyone for their input and all the search history information on badweb. thank you again! |

froggy, i would love that. but, i can't justify the money for the ecm when i can do everything i want to the one i have. it now runs like a raped ape, and the brakes are so much better, i had to learn how to ride all over again. well worth the time and effort. and pod, i ride hard, but safe. thanks again to all! |
