The new bolt had a different lip on it, and the old one was smooth with a rubber sticker around it.

Finally had a day off to work on her a bit, shes getting there. Here are a few pics with the 47mm 1125R forks on there for all the people who said it couldnt be done. 1125R forks and trees are a direct fit, dont see any problems with the stops and they JUST BARLEY clear the tank because they are so fat, modifications to the stops would make the tubes hit the frame.

starting to look good...the only thing I think that sticks out is the natural color rims and swing arm. I am really likeing the frame and paint job though.

wheels and swing arm both come off easy. im going to prob do that stuff when I get my new tires on there. Those 1125R forks look nice and fat on there. I hated the skinny little '03 XB9 forks...

The newer style swingarm in gloss black would do your bike a lot of justice.

Only problem with that amazing paint job is the headers look dull and stick out. Need to ceramic coat them or something? Great color though!

Nahhh. The headers look fine.

I would also suggest leaving the wheels as natural Aluminum color. If you match the color to the fork lowers and fender, the wheels would "pop".

Love the paintjob by the way.

I was going to send the headers down to get coated last year, actually had a guy line up to do them but in a hurry to put the bike together someone banged up the front pipes. After that I didnt want to put any money into them.

I have the fender done, just need to get some metric bolts to hold it on as the 1125R front end uses different bolts.

I guess I should have kept you guys updated.

Got her running, handles awesome, ran great with the bored TB.

Ended up blowing a headgasket and I had to tear her down again. Since I had it apart I added XB9 pistons and just cleaned the heads and lapped the valves. No valve job or porting.

Finished up:

Blown head gasket and new pistons:

Added a carbon alto 9 plate clutch pack from EBR, EBR 6mm Finned front rotor, and the XB9 pistons. Went from ~91whp to 108whp

Took her to a bike show and got best paint, it was all harleys with crazy chrome and kandy paint jobs.. they were pissed.

Took it to JTS Performance, it went from ~91whp to 108whp, also gained ~20+ ftlbs across the whole range.

And here is how she sits today:

rode her an hour and a half to the drag strip last night, bracket raced and only got in one test run. Did a 11.7@100mph letting off and on the brakes trying not to break out as it was bracket racing and I dailed in at 11.8 Easily had an 11.4 in her if I could get some practice runs in.
