got pulled over today cop gets out n says "how long have u been riding that bike with no muffler" i told him the deal and he flat out said i was lying that it DID NOT come from the factory like that and that it was obvious it was a custom job i broke out the laptop i had in my backpack n took his monkey ••• to buell.com shut him right the hell up n he went away muttering somthing about it still being too loud stoopid cops | ||

I have read a lot of things that 420 has posted. And like many others I disagree with a lot of what he has said. But I look at it like this, opinions are like _ssholes...everyone has one. One thing I can say after spending a few years in Grand Forks, ND myself...the local law enforcement are anything but intelligent. Maybe I should keep a buell sales perspective under my seat. | ||

i asked him about that i said isnt there some kind of test i can take n get it certified he stuck his finger in his ear n said this is my test there IS NO noise ordinence law here and at least one biker gang with all the loud ••• straight pipes n •••• not to mention all the redneck retards with the super swamper trucks screw that oinker he only said it because i made him look like a total retard in front of about 20 quickie mart patrons | ||

That's great, 420. I wish you could go live on a planet with no police whatsoever, and see how long you stay alive and keep your property. I'm personally glad that we have police, and yes, sometimes they make poor decisions, but they're only human. So are you glad when cops get killed? Do you do a happy dance when an officer is shot in the line of duty? What about when they're run over by a tractor trailer truck on a routine stop along the highway? Or perhaps when their car gets in an accident during a high-speed chase? Do you enjoy that? Sick. | ||

Personally I like cops. I respect them...I look up to the fact that they are able to remain sane with all of the crap they deal with day in and day out. How would you handle things if everyday you deal with retards and A-holes? Some people just don't get it and probably never will. For the cops that are on this forum reading this carp...thank you. | ||

The majority of cops I deal with are pretty decent people just doing a job & trying to make ends meet like the rest of us. Unfortunately tho you always have that fringe element in anything that drags the whole group down. The ones on power trips are the worst...thank god they are being weeded out now days. Years ago they were allowed to continue with their sadistic ways, but not anymore. | ||

I meet the CHP guys at the local Cafe many days per month. They are to a person, very good guys with a balanced attitude that helps them deal with the vermin and horror they have to deal with all the time and remain of good cheer. After sharing some jo with them, I think we are in good hands here locally. | ||

Police work is just like any other job. There are people who are good cops and plenty that are not so good. I`ve seen both. Most are just normal harding working people like everyone else trying to get through the day and support their family. | ||
