Ok, I've been chasing this issue for awhile. I've narrowed it to either the fuel pump or maybe a very small intake leak. I'm leaning towards the intake leak side right now due to my last check with ECM Spy. Ok, when I first start the bike up after it's been shut down for ~10 minutes I'm seeing on ECMSpy that in open loop the idle is sitting around 700-800 rpms with the injector pulses at 3.2-3.5 ms. When it switches to closed loop the EGO correction will go up to 150% and the injector pulses go to Front 4.0 ms and rear 3.5 ms. The EGO is what catches my eye. That seems really high for just idling. leading me to believe I have an intake leak. | ||

Take some starter fluid and spray around the intake manifold with the bike running, that'll tell ya right quick if your intake is leaking or not. | ||
