Is this what you're looking for?

exhaust mounting picture

That's a picture of the 2005 exhaust mounting setup. I'm not sure if it changed in 2006, sorry. I just know that I've got a race pipe on my '05 lightning and it uses the stock mounts. The bolt for the front mount (as seen in the picture) goes directly through the front / bottom hole in the engine case.

Hope this helps.

the deal is that the mount does not fit the gap is to small with the spacers that i have that were on the bike . thanks for the pic i have that in my book too i have 04 mount front with 06 bike not sure if they are the same and if the jardine has different spacing on the mounting point than stock again i got the bike with the jardine already on the bike

So you already have the factory mounts and you're having trouble getting them installed? Like Nillaice said, a picture is worth a thousand words.

He's got an '06 bike and '04 mounting hardware.

Also... When he bought his bike it had a Jardine. The stock front mounting bracket is not used on the Jardine.

So...

Are the stock Aluminum bits that go between the bracket and engine the same on each side on a stock setup or are they different? He's asking because his are different and the bracket won't fit over them. Is it because the '06 mounting system is a bit different (narrower gap in the upper bracket) or because the Jardine front mount system replaced one of his aluminum bits?
