eBay, HD Dealers that were Buell dealers or any locksmith will have keys that work with Buells. |

Hey Billybob- We just went through the key making process. The H-D dealer in Sanford still services Buells but I'd call to make sure they have what you need in stock before you drive over. You will pay more going that route than the next option I'll mention. When we got duplicates made for all our XB's we ordered blanks online and had a local locksmith cut them. They took pride in their work and we love supporting the local mom and pop shops. Good luck! BeLinda. |

I had some copies made at a local locksmith. He said that the blanks were for Triumph motorcycles. |

You can order brand new keys from your dealer, I did that a few years back to have a spare set. They just need your VIN. It was way more expensive than getting generic blanks cut at the locksmith, but I wanted the OEM keys. |

Someone else will have to chime in as far as key shapes of the different model years goes, but... My 2009 XT uses a standard ILCO blank "X270" and the older ones with the round tubular keys use the ILCO "1137B" blanks. Just ask your locksmith to order you a couple or their favorite manufacturer's equivalent. ILCO is huge in the key buisness, it's like asking for a Fram filter at the auto parts store. |
