The dealer told me N0037.1AJ supersedes to N0037.1AJYCX. Turns out the new number is for the phantom metallic color not the designer black. Are the designer black bars really no longer made? I need to replace mine... | ||

It is very possible, but I don't have dealer access to confirm for you. The bars are physically identical, just a different powdercoat. | ||

correct, N0037.1AJ is obsolete. Hence, no longer made. | ||

We ran into that problem too, but it turned out, when I dealt with it about a year and a half ago, that the old part number still was available, even though it had been superseded. Try to order the old part number and you just may get designer black bars! | ||
