I have an 05 XB12R I want to download the ECMspy off their site (trying not to be a software pirate) I have an Erik Buell Racing ECM, does anyone know what ECM type that would be? Should be something along the lines of BUE* Before anyone warns me about voiding the warranty I just want to hit up a TPS reset on it. |

From what I understand, Someone correct me if I'm wrong, But ECMSpy will not work with a Erik Buell Racing ECM. Pretty sure that you have to buy there software to tune it. |

I don't want to tune it or mess with the map any. I just want to reset the tps being that I just installed the ECM and a new exhaust. |

Your best bet is the old ECMspy that floats around on the web. I am unfamiliar with the process to do a TPS reset on the new ECMspy. If you would like to support the ECMspy team, buy the new one, worst comes to worst if you can't figure out the TPS reset, you can use the older version guilt free. |

standard race ecm bueib and buegb will work with the old ecmspy. It will work with Tunerpro rt as well. If you have a buerb and bue3d you will need a special non public adx and xdf file for the Erik Buell Racing racing ecm used with the PCM tuning tool to use tunerpro. after 2007 and a very few 2008s will work with the old ecmspy. in tunerpro you have to add in some code to the adx its easy... I have posted how a few times how to do it. This will allow you to reset tps clear dtc and ect |
