Hi all I'm new to this board. I own a 2004 Buell XB12s with 15000miles and during service for oil renewal in primary I found this : from where does should come from ? ( sorry for my english I'm french ) |

Welcome Lejim, If you ask me that is pretty normal for an engine with so few miles on! if the metal shavings are very small ,you do not need to worry. And a service manual is also a good choice! but maybe you already have one!? there is a lot of good and useful info to find on here |

If you're asking what all that stuff is on the plug magnet, it's just stuff that comes off the transmission. Nothing to worry about, that's what the magnets for. Unless you find a big chunk of metal, no worries. |

mmm ok. I already own a service manual. In fact I was a XB9 owner in 2007 and changed for xb12 in 2008. I had never seen chunk of this size before, that's why I worried about. This board is amazingly fast for answer ! Thanks guys (Message edited by lejim on March 08, 2011) |
