Your Stg1 kit is €1.217,20 , converted to US dollars + shipping , you are getting close to $2000.00 dollars . Are you kidding ? For that much I could get a big bore kit and get more performance . The other issue I see is you flashing ECM's from customers clear across the globe and thinking they will run correctly with the numerous elevation , temperature , and individual bike differences in the USA etc. The people who by your kit would be better off having a tuner dyno the ECM to their bike , in their area , not Holland ! There has been numerous threads about this on this forum . Dont waste your money people . |

Kdog, that is the kit where there is also a set of original Buell new headers inside. The normal Kit is http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/webshop/artikel.asp? guid=YXHFSC&aid=3355&cid=9669&s=&a=&aname=XB9-12_s tage_1_kit_2008_-_2010_stock_header Kdog, I am the only one in the world that gives a lifetime warranty on our ECM products, can you find for me someone that will do that, besides being a internet knight.. We have 1 goal in life, keep Buell alive, and keep the engines alife.. the rest off the internet knight can tell whatever they like. |

Why would you proudly display a dynochart and then say that you're still tuning it? |

If you would look in our article section, you would see and understand, that I always work like that, I build a article when I am working on the bike in a few days, it's with all the articles the last 4 years I wrote, I don't like keeping all writing till the last day |

Maybe you can address the question of how you think flashing a ECM across the globe at your elevation in Holland , on a Euro Buell , is going to work in all riding conditions , and different customers bikes , in the USA ? If I am a Internet Knight and save one of my fellow Americans from be ripped off , then I'm a Knight . |

Kdog, Having fun with your keybord, and ask the customers who ride it for years now, how that is possible, or use google, oohhhh wait too difficult for you maybe the only reason we can run our business is too make good running products, play with your keyboard and play jealous please please, I don't care and I keep on posting here as a paying advertiser. This forum is for everybody who likes to read about what we do, and if you don't like it, don't read it |

You never answered the question . Maybe over there in Holland they may run OK . But not Dynoing the different ECM's to the specific bike and conditions will get you a bike that is not running at its full performance . Thinking one download will work with people all over the world is foolish . (Message edited by kdogshirow on March 02, 2011) |

Easyrider, People tend to assume (never good I know) that when you post the numbers and graph you're done and that's as good as it gets. I saw something at the very end (only when I looked for it) That said it's not done and you're still playing with the dyno. I think it would be interesting to see how the numbers and graphs change as you do your work. but I would make that a little more clear to the avarage consumer that doesn't have a clue how this stuff works. I mean make it clear it's a work in progress. BTW you've got some really cool stuff on your website. I'll be looking at it more! |

what I sent he will do. he has to to fix the dip... I SENT: "I used the 5gas fix mine. your co levels are off, I had the same issue till I adjusted with a 5 gas and it went away" That in a nut shell is what I sent... You don't have to be an A** about things. Take a few engineering/physics classes, I have and am currently in one before you get jumpy and in over your head. A map made the way your doing it will NOT work everywhere on all bikes.Just as Kdog posted... Your motive is good(on the bikes) but your mannerism is terrible. Thats why you failed at the salt flats. making all that dyno time to get it right as you called it to end up doing what I preach... data log on the bike at the track (or road) to match it to that weather, altitude, fuel type, rider on intended bike.(Thats what you ended up doing to make it right.). You must match the map to the bike, not the map to a different bike then run that in yours (in the real world that called guessing). That is the truth... read your own blog post about it. Why was it you had to map to the bike here at the salt flats if you can make a map there(Netherlands) thats perfect and upload to a different bike and be spot on? why is it you cant do that for your self but you can for others? something fishy... Be an ass to me I can do the same. publicly just as you keep doing over and over... wanna start tossing formulas now on how mapping works to VE and PE~KE. What about temp vs altitude and atmospheric pressure and Barometric pressure in fuel composite burning rate vs additives and ect? I figured I would write it out so you would not get lost in std (FX). show respect one way get respect in return. It's that simple. |

Just to be very very clear, Xopti, I don't like you and i never will, and I DON'T EVEN READ YOUR MAIL. I think you are a big your mail comes directly in my spambox and it stays there... I don't like people that steel my work out the ECM i made and then tell the world how good they are, steeling is oke, but don;'t preach you made it, Somehow you like playing stupid every time, but i keep making clear how i DO NOT LIKE YOU. By the way we set 2 worldrecords (actually 5) but 2 hold the new record in the class at Bonneville The reason on the 3th Bike is that it was not stable read the topic Xopti READ.. The reason I dynod there is because the bikes belong to Glenndale and where there and not here and Glenndale HD asked us to help. You see how stupid you are, you didin't even read the Bonneville topic here: http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/artikelen.asp?cid=6& aid=76 2008xb12scg, very good point, i keep that in mind next time thanks.. I concentrated the Torque on this exhaust at 3500 RPM because that is the riding RPM range and It needed to pull from 5000 RPM and up for making the power. With bigger headers the gasflow changes and the dip will be less. This is a design choice we made you will see in all our XB developed exhaust. You don't feel it on the road. This has nothing to do with adjustments.. Xopti, i suggest you keep your school money or maybe your lucky and can get it back and do something else in live.. Copy watches or something.. |

I am not trying to get in any pissing match here but this is my observation on this topic. I see a guy offering a product and is showing his research however when people who could be his potential customers or some one who is offering help to improve it offer up feedback he gets rude with them. Part of buying a product for me is the customer service that goes with it. If I ask a question about a product I get flamed about it by the manufacturer I am not going to buy it there for I will never do business with this product. Customer service is a very important part of our company. If people like to ask a question they can mail us on info@twinmotorcycles.nl |

EVERYONE just saw how you are as a person. What and how you can turn on people. Funny how that happened... Just what did I steal from you? sure as hell was not maps. every bike needs its own to be correct mapped to conditions matching your area. not Netherlands conditions. useless map for me. I live In complete different conditions. Before reading your post as you state you must match altitude, Baro pressures, humidity and fuel to run correctly... so it was adjusted at the track and datalog cause the dyno work was off. The xb9 was off and the xbrr off on fueling. dyno graphs show it was different than stated but needed adjusted due to weather changes. go back and see graphs you posted. safe side? see afr line. That is what you posted. IMO This is at the bike on the intended bike. now if you make a map on a different bike at different conditions. put that in a buyers bike somewhere else with different conditions site unseen how is it suppose to match up? yeah that sounds fair to them for hard earned cash. lol your Quote now. "We programmed the 3 bikes for this altitude, but a little on the save side, because we had no experience with the salt, the fuel, the conditions with the humidity and barometric pressure. The 3 bikes were running a little rich, but better that than way too lean. Understanding the conditions on the Salt Flats is not an easy thing to do." Imagine FLorida conditions, then Utah conditions. Our maps dont work well there. even on the same bike. Fuel, altitude, baro, and humidity are all different never even close to the same. map will not work well till it is adjusted accordingly. What baffles me and others is how you can defy the laws of physics and no one else can in the industry? Be it car, truck, motorbike, or boat running combustion engines. Even more-so than the OEM with millions in r&d. I stated my piece. have fun on your project. |

This guy is obviously a plug. With that type of attitude towards knowledgeable people that were offering to help, I'm surprised he can stay in business at all. I know I will never give twinmotorcycles any kind of business. It's funny that as I'm typing, I'm looking at an advertisement for JT&S at Infineon. |
