Took the 9 out for a thrash after its service and curing a charging fault. Good lord it still makes me grin like a juvenile delinquent. Even after owning 28 bikes, this is the only one i'm keeping. Such an underrated bike.....booked my trip to the isle of man tt again this year!!! Time to embarrass rice again. will post some pics if i can figure out how to do it again?? |

i'm glad you love your bike so much! i love your tail swap, or front end swap...whichever you did. You say you have owned 28 bikes over the years, and the buells have been your favorite....thats great for you, but my buell is my first bike, and i absolutelyu love it! i dont see myself being as happy with another bike....guess i'll have to just keep it forever! |

Great looking bike...One day my bike will be a lightningbolt as soon as I can collect all of the pieces I need left. I just keep buying each piece as i find it. |

Thanks Iman501,save your cash and keep the buell, included in the 28 bikes was a brand new R1 and a race prep Ducati 748. None of them had the drool factor. Did the tail swap back in 2008 and sent the forks away to firefox racing to be revalved for my weight then anodized, wow what a difference in front end feel, |

Completely envious of you going to the TT - I'm a Brit living in Vancouver, BC and never got to the Isle Of Man. Would love to ship the XB12R over, and enjoy a couple of weeks of TT madness! I'll keep hoping for the lottery win! |

These are the standard xb9s forks just reworked/revalved by firefox racing uk, then anodized gold. cost 300 quid. |
