The tire has been like that for a couple months and the crack was not there when I put the rim back on the bike after the tire change out. I will be home from offshore Tuesday and will get a better picture. If you bought it at a dealer and had them install it, then they should be able to help you get a replacement or at least prorated discount. I'll get a better pic and some info off the tire to post. I was thinking about going with the Michelin Pilot Road 2CT tires. They are dual compound and have a longer tread life than most if not all dual compound tires.   Greg_e Posted on Sunday, February 20, 2011 - 10:44 pm:        My Pilot Powers are nice tires so those road 2ct should be decent.
