so I have had many different bikes over the years (5 to be exact) and all of them were sport bikes however I have always ran sport touring type tires on them. Well today I put a set of pilot power 2cts on my bike and after several hours of riding I do not think I will ever go back to sport touring tires ever again. my bike now handles better than it has since I owned it. Also I never knew that tires really made that big of a deal until today. |

Interesting. I run Conti Road Attacks, which is a sport touring tire. I got about 7k miles or so from the last set. The new ones I have to put on are a Road Attack front, and a Race Attack rear. I'm sure the new rear will only go about 4k miles max. Of course, my bike is a daily commuter (for 9 months when theres no snow/salt on the road), and gets the super slab a lot. My tires tend to fail from HUGE flat spots on the rear tire. After this new set, I'm going to try the new Road Attack 2. |

You should notice a big difference when going from a standard sport touring tire to a hi-performance dual compound tire. If you really hit the twisties hard a dual compound tire is the way to go. I am currently running the Corsa 3 and will be considering either the Pilot 2ct or the Dunlop Q2 for the next set. |

I've got the 2ct on right now, great tire. The only thing that I didn't like about them, was they changed my suspension set-up significantly, so I had to ride, adjust, ride, ride, adjust, ride, ride... All this riding, what a pain! |

I put handlebars on my 12R, a Uly swingarm, and new tires. I'm starting the suspension from square 1. Again. But thats half the fun. |
