do i need to just tighten up the switch a bit or replace the washer? switch seems to work fine. i ordered the washer november 22, still don't have it. anyone know if i can use something else? |

don't know, haven't taken the switch out yet. the transmission sprocket has to be removed first. |

Whoa -----I was told that with my '06 Uly but after some careful looking and measuring I was able to remove / install this with a modified socket. This socket tucks in behind the front sprocket and also fits into the recess in the crankcase. I had to take the wheel off so I could move the belt out of the way but this is the special tool (socket was a slightly rusty one I picked up for 50c at a swap meet ground down on the bench grinder). Let me know if you want the dimensions of this - I don't have them at hand at the moment. BTW - given the construction of the switch it probably isn't impossible for it to leak out of the end where the insulator is crimped? (Message edited by Rays on February 11, 2011) |
