I just called progressive and they don't sell anymore the full coverage insurance on these bikes, just the minimum WTF? Is the fact that buells are discontinued an issue for current owners? Do you guys know other companies/prices? I'm between 30-35, single in NYC and they are charging me $286 /year, Is that an OK price? Thank you for your help. |

I am in Putnam County NY, have Progressive, and have full coverage on 4 Buells, including two 1125's. I would ask why they won't sell you full coverage, because they do offer it. Try applying for it online, doing stuff over the phone gets you nowhere these days. (Message edited by Froggy on February 07, 2011) |

That price looks like a steal . . BUT I am carrying the maximum coverage they will write plus an umbrella policy covering all the bikes I have insured. It's a requirement of my SCU's employment contract. I think I pay something like $150/mo. |

I live in nyc, but have a not so great driving record... I use Sentry, and pay like $800 year. |

That price is slightly higher than I pay for the same machine in central NY. I think it is still high based on horsepower, but that's not how they figure it. |
