I'm ready to purchase the gas mask to use on my Buell. Im going with the Avon S-10, it's a British mask. I've located several on eBay for a reasonable price. Only thing I'm unclear on is I've noticed several different sizes. Is there anyone in particular I should pick up? Any advice is appreciated | ||

this is typeone's bike and it is the avon s10, but he never knew what size. just picked it up second hand and started cutting on it until it fit.  | ||

If you can get one, a Canadian C4 gas mask would probably do the trick too! I'm contemplating misplacing one at work to do that mod! A large or XL would definitely fit, and you can easily work it or cut it to make it look better and meaner on your bike! | ||

I have one that I removed from my bike if your interested. It is the British S10. It looks like the one No rice posted. I love the look but I couldnt use it in combination with my brow windscreen. I had to make a choice and chose the windscreen. $30 shipped | ||

I think it looks freaking mean! IMO anyways, a gas mask alone is something you don't see often, nevermind a gas mask integrated to a mod ON A BIKE, makes it even more "special" when says bike is a Buell! My 2 cents | ||

no doubt, i love the squinting "eyes" and that it doesnt get as close to the fender as the real mask. but for the money, i'll just live with the mask. i can't wait to get it on the bike | ||

I read a post somewhere and it mentioned that it hit the fender. I think he had either an Scg or SL ... regular S's had the clearance though. | ||

I have a little bell hanging about 1 1/2 from the headlight and it hits the fender on occasion (scg) so I wouldn't be surprised if the mask did too. | ||

im kinda worried about the mask hitting the fender when the front end comes down from a wheelie. not that i ever would do a wheelie but if it accidentally happened, ya know. | ||

all it does when it hits the fender is leave a rub mark (rubber/plastic on plastic/surlyn). i have the mask on my 9sl for >3 years now without amy adverse effects, i just have to adjust the mask from time to time due to the nose piece riding up with heavy compression of forks at times (speed bumps, potholes, wheelies, etc.) | ||
