Some of you may care less about this, but I finally got to ride an XB (XB12scg to be specific). Found out one of my new coworkers rode a Buell. So I had to ask if he would be willing to let me ride since you can't go test ride from a dealer and I didn't know anyone. Needless to say, I am very appreciative of him letting me test it out. After several years of looking at the bikes, studying and comparing... everything but riding... I am now hooked, and badly. I don't think I've had that big of a grin after riding in a long time. Now I just need to figure out how to find the money so I can get one... |

That's pretty much how we all got started- drooled on em for a while, then rode one and got hooked. By the way, it's called a "perma-grin".

Thanks. Yeah, as soon as I have the finances I'm getting one. No question about it now. |

Just a thought about addictions such as this. "It all starts with the first one." |

It's an addiction all right, but instead of guilt & shame we have pride! |

Boy , now you are in trouble , I rode my first Buell 11 years ago , and have been hooked ever since . The different look , the sound , not like any other bike . I am on my second and hope to get more in the future . |

Thanks for the encouragement... or enabling... whichever you want to call it. Haha. Yeah, getting off the Blast and jumping on the XB12 left me without words. The bike fit like a glove, actually felt more comfortable than the Blast. |

No kidding. I'm hoping to be able to have one (possibly the one I rode) by the time the weather warms back up. |
