how much oil you putting in there? if you dont want it to leak you could j b weld it really you can make threads w/ the stuff. but were you complaining a bout a ride? for shame.

Spray from the clutch?.... One of the funniest Buell stories ever when we were at Daytona in 1997. Remind me to tell you someday. It can happen...pressure and a blocked tranny vent make the housing of the clutch cable the path of least resistance. HINT: Bad idea to be in the middle of your "they may have leaked oil years ago, but that's all history" talk just as your S-1 pukes a load of oil on your nice white shirt. |

u can see were its coming from right there on the lever the lever has ALOT of play in it not front n back but up and down been like that since day one even asked em about it the day i bought it they said ah its fine edited by 420at145mph on June 15, 2004 |

There is a tube that comes off the back of the top of the transmission, close to the starter. Trace it back and make sure it is not kinked / plugged (as Court suggests). If it is not, are you spraying tranny fluid out the pipe in back as well? Could be a crank seal (not a big deal to fix). |

Up and down play in the clutch lever is normal. Every bike I've sat on does that. Tripper, is that from a blown rocker box gasket? |

ya i know but this is probly an inch or so ALOT more than ive ever seen anyway well maby 3/4 of an inch both my neighbors bikes have ZERO play in them but then again there clutches are 10 times easier to pull edited by 420at145mph on June 15, 2004 |

No, a simple cap blow off. You'd think they could figure out a screw on device. Oh, I guess they have, I'm just too cheap to buy it. |
