Hi guys, I am considering the Madstad ULY windscreen kit for my 2008 Buell TT. Will the Madstad painted aluminum ULY flyscreen fit on the TT or Lightning headlamp assembly? Or do you have to change out the TT assembly for the ULY? I just prefer the more solid mounting and look of Madstad's ULK kit over their Lightning kit. Thanks! | ||

Headlights are the same, but the fairing mount brackets and fairings are different. It isn't a hard swap once you got all the parts. | ||

If you are looking to do the swap, I would swap my uly bracket and madstad windscreen for your lightning ones. | ||

HI Dudes, I have been looking at about 4 windscreen options for the BUELL TT, and they range from bolt-on extended windshields to more sophisticated and fully adjustable windscreens and mounts. Prices ranged from $180 to $350. Fortunately, our RDS Member ULYBRAD, fixed me up with a spare ULY bikini fairing and 4" extended windshield. So, I ended up fabricating mounting brackets and stuck the ULY stuff on the TT! It works remarkably well! No more wind-blast on the upper body, and fairly smooth air around the helmet. It makes the TT a long distance machine now. If I want to go back to the naked street-fighter look, all it takes is removing four screws and a few minutes time.
