i finally got round to fitting my reverso on the bike, i need to make the brackets for the chin spoiler now, then its off to the dyno sometime, i will be making one to fit pre 08 too this is before i did the link pipe
i have some equal length headers tacked together as well and will hopefully be fitting them over xmas

The stock muffler has the same long run down the side just like this design does.
It helps with the low/mid range power. It keeps the dead spot at bay that most everyone whines about. It seems that some bikes, the "dead" spot can be tuned out, others engines, it can't.
I've seen both. The same mapping on two different bikes...one works, the other doesn't. Even with more fiddling, the flat spot can still be felt. I had mine almost all the way out...but after all was tried, the stock muffler is back on my bike. Though I'm going to try a modified stock version one of these days.
Does the 2008 that is pictured have a catalytic converter? The reason I ask is that the headers here in the states all have the same inlet angle to the muffler. I am aware that the later model bikes in Europe had a change header design but I am curious what other changes were made to the exhaust.

this exhaust doesn't have a cat, the 08> over here have 41mm headers and the <08 have 45mm ones, i have my equal length 45mm ones ready to try one the bike once i get a base dyno reading, hopefully this weekend
I mean, how many designs could there really be. Its a pretty basic Idea that is used by everyone who ventures into the 'reverso' system. Just like the drummers and hawks look like stock systems. Hopefully, the biggest difference in this system will be...wait for it...... THE DAMN PRICE!!!!!!!!
The quality of the welds and the craftsmanship of the build are far superior to the other reverso systems I have seen . The thing is beautiful . Good work !!
well the preliminary results are, my reverso made an extra 5bhp in the mid range over stock with no others mods, stock fuelling etc. i'm awaiting the dyno guy to email me the plots, next step is to fit my equal length larger dia headers

dyno plots at last, not massive figures but a nice midrange gain with the reverso.no other mods, just a simple can swap, blue=reverso, green= my straight thru, red= standard also first pic of my new headers, still need to do a few tweeks
that was a stock map, i need a pal to hook up ecm spy sometime to sort out the fuelling once i finish my headers, but as its snowing here it may be a while before i get it done, with the rock salt they use on the roads here you can almost watch your bike corroding away
