Author Message   Jad2 Posted on Wednesday, June 09, 2004 - 04:52 pm:        Tire Pressure I've had people tell me "Use what the manual says" and others "Don't worry about the manual, go by what's on the tire." I'm not sure about the aftermarket tires, but the stock tires differ about 10PSI from what the manual says. Which should I use? Is it up to rider feel?   Draoidh Posted on Wednesday, June 09, 2004 - 04:58 pm:        Rider feel beats any thing in print. Just bump up/down the PSI by 2 between runs and find your sweet spot. There was an article (can't remember the mag), where they mentioned how sensitive the XB was to correct tire pressure - 2 PSI to either side had a big negative effect on handling.
