okay guys im in a bit of a fix here. a friend of mine wants to trade me his 07 zx10r for my 05 xb9sx. miles are both around 5000 the zx has a full carbon acropovic exhaust, mine has a drummer. thats all the upgrades done to each. he wants to trade straight up. does this sound like a good deal? | ||

All depends what you want. If good gas mileage, easy maintenance and unique then stay with the Buell. If you want a faster bike then go for the zx10 (don't forget to check insurance prices though...). The deal depends upon what you want... | ||

Condition is going to be the real factor but with even condition that'd be a GREAT deal IMHO. | ||

This deal sounds too good to be true I would look sceptically at a deal for an older bike from a company that doesn't exist anymore. Brings up the real question what's wrong with the Kwacker? Or does he realize the the Buell will be worth something in 10 years the Kwacker maybe not so much. | ||

Does the Ninja have a clean title? Do you know the history of the bike? Was maintenance done? Is it Clean? If so, I would trade in a heartbeat because it it simply has better resale value. You can sell it and find another Buell and keep the change. | ||

thanks for the input guy, i think im gonna make the trade. as far as i can tell the kawi is legit, title and condition. n the spring we're going 2 go ride and swap bike so we can both see what we r getting... ill post again when that time comes | ||

I think I would be tempted with an offer like that...don't get me wrong, I love my Lightnin'....but I have ridden an '07 ZX-10 and knuckle-whitening horsepower is only a wrist snap away. it is the whisper from the dark side...  listen not young Jedi. |
