They are finally here!!!!! 3.515 bore forged CP pistons with thermal top coatings and anti-friction skirt coatings and Total Seal Gapless piston rings!!! Yay!!!! 9.6:1 CR with 0.040" head gaskets. The motor can go together now!!!

They are going in my 2005 turbocharged XB12Scg. That's right, Tim. I'll be cranking up the boost, as long as tuning goes smoothly and everything runs like it should, until I see 200hp. I have to study over the weekend for a 8am Calculus final exam Monday and after that the motor assembly will commence! |

mmmm, those sure are purty. Almost too pretty to install, lol. Keep us posted on your build, some of us are watching closely for that special day when the XB is no longer an only bike... |

Eric, I feel your pain on the finals. I have a test in Math Monday then other on Tuesday and on Wednesday I have two test back to back... After that, I'm a free man for three weeks. Nice parts.By the way... Total seals rock."well they don't rock, they work very well." I have a few on the way for the race bike. but most money was spent on making a new computer from scratch. Qual 3.0 am3/ ddr3 16 gigs/ 3.0 usb ect ect. The darn black Fridays and cyber Mondays got me from New Egg. |
