So I'm looking for a new windscreen. I have a white and hero blue XB12R and I'm trying to keep to the blue and white theme. I am considering the Memphis Shades Cockpit and the Powerbronze Double Bubble. I want to stay away from the Zero Gravity Double Bubble because of the burning gauges. Does anybody have experience with the Memphis Shades or Powerbronze? Also other suggestions are welcome. |

During my search I have also found these screens. If anything I hope these posts can help others see what is available. http://bikescreen.com/proddetail.asp?prod=zzBuellF ireboltG-Fa http://www.moto-works.jp/bikes/buell.html |

I have a Memphis Shades touring windscreen on my '04 Firebolt that I bought on clearance from Dennis Kirk. It is clear, so it doesn't really match the amber/black bike, and it is pretty tall. Those are the only two downsides, the good things about it are it is tall and does block the wind pretty good but it does make my helmet flutter a bit if I'm somewhere between full tuck and sitting all the way up. For $35 on sale it wasn't a bad deal. They have a blue shaded one on sale now, but I can't find the one I bought. http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Prod uct.jsp?skuId=248139&store=&catId=&productId=p2481 39&leafCatId=&mmyId= |

FYI the burning gauge deal is not a big a problem as you think. I live in South Louisiana and park my bike outside in 100 degree heat and sun regularly without any issues. I have the dark smoke ZG DB windscreen. |

my guages were melted when i got my bike a bit, nothing that matters at all, but the bike had a clear stock wind screen on it, not sure what happened, but i now have a ZG dark smoke wind screen, and havent had any further melting, but if it bugs you go with whatever brand you like! |

Can one of you guys take a pic with the Dennis kirk screen on their bike for me? I have a pair of ZGs but one is broke so I need to replace it. Id love to see what thy look like before I buy. And as far as the burnt gauges, I had it happen to me. You just have to pay attention to how you park OR put a piece of fabric over the top of your gauges when you park outside. |

I have the Zero Gravity "Touring" wind screen. It reduced buffeting and made a bigger bubble to tuck into. I also have the White/Hero Blue and the blue is a perfect match. The screen also gave the needed clearance for my GPS. There is also no issue with the melting like the double bubble screens. Got mine from American Sport Bike. |

I am pretty interested in seeing better pics of the Memphis shades cockpit. I really don't want to chance it with the zg double bubble. By the way do all brands of double bubbles have the same melting issue? |

Here's some photo's of mine. It comes up roughly three inches from the corner of the fairing. The fit at the corner of the fairing isn't great. The part number on it was 2301-0395 and I got it at Dennis Kirk http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs1144 .snc4/148623_460608791481_508561481_5708486_459092 4_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs1144 .snc4/148623_460608801481_508561481_5708487_208598 _n.jpg |

Thank you for taking those pictures. Really appreciated. But looks are important to me so a double bubble is what I'm gonna stick with. |

Thanks for the pics KS. I see what you mean about the fit at the corners. I really like the double bubble but I don't want to have to worry about it every time I park. So any word on whether it happens with all brands of double bubbles? |
