Most likely a 12v plug for accessories. Probably a 12 constant, 12 switched and ground. There isn't much else it could be. Is there anything in your owners manual about it? |

I didn't see anything, but I still have to go through the Service Manual. |

The "diagnostics" plug is a 4-conductor connector. I've not seen that one before. |

I was looking through the service manual, and it might be for the side stand switch (HDI only). Are the 3 wires red, tan, and black, all with a white stripe? |

It's actually where HD plugs in the restrictor unit. The white XBr's have the restrictor removed at the factory...there by making them much faster than the other XBr's. |

Just get a Mr Fusion and hover conversion. Pictures Erik as Doc Brown and Eslick as Marty McFly. Screeeech! "Danny.......Danny, I've come to take you back." "Erik, back? Back where?" "Back to the Future! Where we're going we don't need roads."

I just took a pic of that same thing on my '09 Ulysses and was going to post it with the same question... I thought it may be some of the police light harness or something since I have a police Uly but if it's on your 1R then I guess not. |

Ok, I checked the wire colors, and I would put money on it that the plug is for the HDI only sidestand switch. The colors and location match the fold-out Main Harness wiring diagram, and in the description for the Sidestand switch removal locates the harness "between the left ram air scoop and cylinder head next to the front V-bracket to frame bolt." No pictures though. |
