Can you remove the "X" without damaging the airbox on the translucent XB airbox covers? Thanks! |

Whatever you do, DO NOT use windex or any amonia based cleaner to clean your translucid... it will end up clouding it up... WD-40 or pledge furniture polish work great on the clear plastics. |

When I removed a rubber X from a translucent blue airbox with the screen, it left a hard black super-glue like mess that I could only remove by sanding. I had to use fishing line like a saw to get it off. |

Take care getting that X off... plenty of people would be willing to take that item off your hands. |

Not sure what to do. I do not want to have to sand, even with 2000 grit. The Buell letters are a piece of cake with a hairdryer, but black epoxy under the X. Time will tell what I do. Thanks for the in put all!!!! |
