Just looking at the new pads compared to the old. The old has some kind of shim clipped to it. New one does not. I don't see a shim in the parts manual or in the service manual. Should I just know to move it over or is it something that is only found on some pads? Any ideas? Thanks. |

I believe the shim is part of the brake pad. Some come with it some don't. |

What kind of pads did you buy? As Dc mentioned, some have them and other do not. The shims typically serve as noise mitigation.... |
