I have a 2007 xb9sx that i would really love to drop a few inches. I plan on doing this around late november early december. I have read all of the write ups on what i would need and how its done. I would just like to invite anyone who wants to help or stop by for morale support! haha. So to start off, I will need some parts from a cg. Yellow spring/shock and fork also the side stand. Please refer me to any site or forum thread that could offer these parts. Willing to trade, mine are stillin great condidtion about 10,000 miles. I alrealy have the low seat. My legs are short but my torso is long. Freak of nature. |

I have an 08 scg. I would consider a trade of fork, shock and kickstand. 16k miles. Front forks oil just changed, no other issues. PM me (Message edited by thepod on September 28, 2010) |

I'm the guy selling the Low fork legs/shock/stand on this thread: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 595043.html?1285597842 I havent gotten a call from the buyer who said he wants the shock and stand. So I could probably sell you the complete set (package deal $450 + postage). A trade with someone is a great way to go, IF you can do the swap together in person. That way you can a good idea of what shape the parts are in before turning any wrenches. And down time is minimal. I tried to go the swap route, but it was like herding cats. I ended up just buying the parts (and tools and stands) over a couple weeks until I had everything. Installing them only took one evening. Good luck, let me know if you have any interest in buying my Low parts. |

Isn't the diameter of the legs different, so you will need the triple trees too? |

^^Yes, but you only need the lower triple. The top clamp is common between all forks. |
